A Bright Path to Friendship
JYPS has a new neighbour — Pathlight School Tampines that follows the national curriculum and equips students with essential life and social skills. With the campus located just beside JYPS, it has opened exciting new doors for friendship and collaboration. Sleep Well
Did you know that only 13% of our students get the recommended 9 or more hours of sleep on school nights? The JYPS News 91 Team dug into the numbers and spoke with students and our school counsellor, Madam Sharifah, to find out why — and what we can do about it. Our School Field is Open
The JYPS school field has officially reopened, and for most students, it has been a long-awaited moment. The field was closed three years ago due to the construction of Pathlight School next to JYPS, to keep students safe from any hazards during the works. Now it is back and better than ever — complete with a new drainage system, synthetic grass, lamp posts, newly planted trees, and higher fencing for extra safety. Recess Fun on the First Day of School
Our new Primary 1 students had a wonderful first recess, guided by their caring Primary 4 buddies who showed them around the canteen, helped them buy food, and pointed out key spots around the school. The P1s quickly found their footing — and their favourite dishes! — while the P4 buddies walked away feeling proud and happy to have made a difference. It was a heartwarming start to a great friendship between our seniors and juniors at JYPS.
