Inaugural ECG Circles Programme

Celebrating the Success of the Inaugural ECG Circles Programme
On 30 October 2025, the CCE Department proudly organised the inaugural ECG Circles programme, an enriching event dedicated to Education and Career Guidance for our graduating cohort. This initiative was designed to help students forge meaningful connections between the 21st Century Competencies (21CC) such as communication, global citizenship, critical thinking — and the world of work.
During the event, students participated in small group sharing sessions with distinguished external partners, including alumni and SAC members. We were honoured to welcome the following speakers, whose diverse experiences and insights inspired our students:
- LTC Firdaus Bin Ghazali (Graduating Class of 1999)
- Mr Heng Wee Shiun (Graduating Class of 2001)
- Mr Dennis Poh (Graduating Class of 2001)
- Mr Tan Sheng Han, Rayius (Graduating Class of 2005)
- Ms Elysia Lim (Graduating Class of 2010)
These inspiring speakers shared valuable lessons on the important values, skills, and attitudes needed to succeed in today’s ever-changing world. They highlighted their own journeys, emphasising the importance of lifelong learning, growth mindset, and resilience in achieving personal and professional goals.
The programme aimed to:
- Enable students to relate 21CC skills to real-world careers
- Raise awareness of diverse educational and career options
- Foster understanding of the values, attitudes, and skills necessary to be future-ready
The event was a great success, inspiring our students to aspire to greater heights and equipping them with the knowledge and motivation to navigate their future with confidence. We are proud of our students’ active participation and look forward to more of such impactful initiatives.
